Kelly W
Kelly Wuenstel
Jack of All Trades

The Law of Attraction/Vibration states that everything vibrates and nothing rests. Vibrations of the same frequency resonate with each other, so like attracts like energy. Everything is energy, including your thoughts. Constantly focusing on a particular thought or idea attracts its vibrational match. How to apply it: focus on what you want instead of what you don't want.

Kelly Wuenstel

Kelly is BigWheel’s resident jack-of-all-trades. From accounting and event planning to welcoming office visitors and reaching out to vendors, Kelly keeps BigWheel HQ running smoothly. Her accounting degree and love of people has helped shape her career. Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys creating! Cakes, Halloween costumes, paintings, she’s got it covered. She’s also really talented at making silly faces, but only for extremely special people.

Ohio is the only state that doesn't share a letter with the word mackerel.

Sara Myers

Sara designs beautiful things in both digital and print forms. Her love of drawing and learning inspired her design career. That, plus vet school was too expensive. Before joining BigWheel, Sara worked in graphic design and typesetting at a local printshop. She also spent time at Covenant Health assisting with design and illustration. Sara has four cats Frijoles, Leroy Jenkins, Goose, and Iceman and a wooly worm Patricia. Some of her favorite things involve doing a killer dolphin impression, crushing the patriarchy, and hyperbolic crochet.

"Growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional" - Chili Davis

Kervie Mata

Kervie creates branding solutions for a variety of digital and traditional graphic design projects. He chose a career in design because reading and collecting comic books when he was young inspired him to become interested in drawing and art. As the use of computers and the internet became more mainstream, he wanted to find a profession that could combine art and computer technology and discovered Graphic Design as a growing field while enrolled as a Computer Science major at WVU. He changed majors and the rest, as they say, is history. Kervie thinks the idea of having the freedom to create and design something new every day makes his job extremely rewarding.

A self-taught coder, Colin likes working with his hands and taking things apart just to see how they work. Prior to joining BigWheel's Development Team, Colin was an electrician for 3+ years and wired many new houses in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. David Garner

David assists in the digital marketing department with development and analytics support, as well as assisting with server administration. He has been with BigWheel since 2011 and says his interest in digital was sparked by his love math and writing. Beginning with digital marketing, he was able to work simultaneously in content creation, web analytics, and web development. David and his wife Whitney live in Chicago, where she works as a Physician Assistant in the emergency room at a local hospital, and he attends the University of Chicago, working on a Master of Arts degree. When he’s not a digital marketing ninja, David is fishing, grilling, or binge-watching television.

I'd never have gotten into graphic design if I hadn't been a flight attendant. It's a long story.

Lori Robbins

Don't let the snow melt on your shoulders.

Les Littell

Les serves as BigWheel’s Understander in Chief. Since starting at BigWheel in 1998, he has worked to understand the needs, audience, and technologies available for local, national, and international clients. As a design major in the 90s, Les saw the digital environment as a necessary skill to be able to proceed into the future. It wasn’t something that was formally taught at the time, so he sought out a team of forward-thinking mentors. Since then, Les has done everything from code microsites and sweepstakes to manage photo and video shoots. Les says that the ultimate reward of his role is helping people to succeed.

Parker Frost

Parker says he’s known since he was a kid that he was meant to be in sales. His passion for thought leadership and marketing came later, but it all started with sales. Parker loves vacationing and checking out live music with his wife Lisa, son Davis, and daughter Sophie. "when you don't create things, you become defined by your tastes rather than ability. your tastes only narrow & exclude people. so create.” ― Why The Lucky Stiff

I've been programming since I was 18 years old. I enjoy taking client's ideas and passions and implementing them in a way that makes me proud of what I have done for them. My most important principle that I maintain is KISS (keep it simple stupid). I believe that any given project and/or code on any given level should be able to be explained to a non-technical person without confusion. When this principle is achieved, you are left with true art that will last for many years to come. I'm a family man with a wife and three kids. I enjoy spending time with them, hiking, rock climbing, and weight lifting.

Charlie Sissom

I run an Instagram account for my dog.

Charlie Sissom

Charlie is a senior at the University of Tennessee studying advertising. His past sales experience in promotional products, personal financial planning and, yes, even door-to-door window selling gives him insight beyond most students (or interns) his age. Combined with previous agency experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a good sense of humor he punches far above his weight class as "the intern".

How do you know when an accountant is on holiday? She comes in after 8 a.m.!

Kelly Volpe
Digital Marketing Team

My husband and I have a music room where we try to pick up where we left off playing guitar and piano. We are working on a two man band. I am obviously the lead singer. We will never play in public.

Kelly creates or manages the digital presence for a plethora of clients through website optimization, PPC, and paid social media marketing. She chose her path in Digital Marketing because she always liked to write and initially went to school to be a journalist. In school it became painfully obvious that the newspaper track was shortsighted, so she decided to switch her major to English. Being a good writer that loves to find a good story weaved nicely into a marketing career. Telling a brand's story initially is what drew Kelly to marketing and the ever evolving nature of digital marketing keeps her on her toes. She loves digital marketing because it works and finds it very rewarding to teach a client about Google and how PPC or a good website will help them reach their business goals. Kelly and her husband Ty are the proud parents of a perfect angel dog named Heinrich Von, an ornery yet adorable cat named Lil' Daryl, a nutso yet sweet dog named Lawrence Matthew, and an anxious rescue that wormed his way into our hearts named REO Speedwaggin'.

Before Katie joined the BigWheel team, she managed multinational marketing efforts for a variety of different businesses, with a focus of B2B. She started her career as a graphic designer and loves to see projects transform from vision through execution. Katie enjoys making things with her hands as a potter and adventuring outside every chance she can get.
