BigWheel is seeking an experienced web developer to execute front-end and limited back-end development for local, regional, and national clients. Must be able to work in a collaborative environment while providing critical function to the project team. We believe the customer experience is a top priority and we are looking for a like-minded individual to join our growing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of websites and applications through all phases of the development life cycle (including planning, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining)
- Working with project managers using traditional and Agile methodologies to plan and execute development
- Writing custom plug-ins and API integrations
- Configure AWS resources to host web applications
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and add new features to existing websites
- Meet and communicate professionally with clients to determine project requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Minimum 5 years web development experience
- Working knowledge of modern front- and back-end web application technologies
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology
- Ability to find, present, and implement creative solutions
