Mid-Senior Digital Designer


As a mid to senior-level designer, you will work collaboratively and independently to translate business, brand, marketing, user experience, and content strategies into a conceptual and visual framework. You will work with fellow designers, developers, project managers, and various marketing support professionals to deliver the highest quality solutions for local and national brands. 

Reporting to the Project Managers, you will be a primary customer advocate responsible for bringing together user-centered digital architecture and design. More specifically, you will:

  • Design market-leading user experience, including site maps and wireframes
  • Analyze partner needs and translate into detailed and organized comps
  • Partner with the project team and/or key stakeholders to establish design direction for all assigned projects
  • Develop design elements including site layout, navigation, images, icons, and other multimedia assets to support online strategies and provide a usable and compelling digital experience
  • Manage user research, if applicable, for the business model or brand to cater to user experience
  • Produce working prototypes of intended interactive design 
  • Produce required specs and assets for development 
  • Ability to translate partner needs into cohesive and brand-specific print pieces, including knowledge of the production process
  • Participate in design reviews with partners to ensure that design meets both business objectives and user needs
  • Archive files and document patterns that may have emerged from project work

Qualifications/Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Recognized track record in designing UI/UX for B2C and B2B companies
  • Skills to convert abstract concepts into innovative designs
  • Expert knowledge of development concepts and creative development process
  • Outstanding design skills, including color theory, layout, typography, corporate identity, and branding 
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating a broad range of experience, concepts, and visual styles
  • Experience with user interface design, industry standards and trends, usability best practices, platform and browser capabilities, and digital design constraints 
  • Experience working in an agile process environment
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under the pressure of tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Both a strong team member and leader

Additional Information:

  • BA in Art, Design, Graphics, UX, or related discipline 
  • 3-5 years of professional design experience, agency experience is a plus
  • Fluent in industry-standard software suites in a Mac environment (i.e., Adobe CC, XD, Sketch, FlowMapp, etc.)
