Jewelry Television, the largest retailer of loose gemstones and one of the top 4 electronic jewelry retailers in the United States, was looking for a way to promote their new Gemopedia, an interactive, comprehensive gemstone encyclopedia with anything and everything you need to know about gemstones. In the process of driving traffic to this new learning resource, JTV also wanted to collect new leads for marketing purposes.
JTV partnered with Voices Heard Media to create an interactive trivia experience and sweepstakes that qualified users to win a trip to the 2016 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. Over a 5 week period users were faced with 10 difficult questions per week and were shown how their scores stacked up to others taking the quiz. Luckily, all the answers could be found in the Gemopedia which ensured users would spend time perusing the new content.
Over the 5 week period there were nearly 350,000 interactions by 35,000 unique engaged visitors.
